EzContent
EzContent is the content-management distribution from the digital agency Srijan — Drupal assembled for content and media teams: ready-made content types, media handling, layout-built landing pages and SEO plumbing, with a decoupled-ready API layer for teams that pair Drupal with a JavaScript front end.
What ships on BOA
The EZC platform is a pinned, tested build — the 2.2 line on the
Drupal 10.3 core at the time of writing. It installs and serves exactly as
tested and does not chase upstream releases; updating core or modules inside
a site you build on it is your own Composer workflow, like on any platform
you'd add yourself.
Installing a site on it
Create a site on the EzContent platform with the ezcontent profile — that's
what turns the install into an editorial site with the distribution's content
types and components in place rather than a bare Drupal. Everything after the
install is standard Drupal administration.
Good to know
- Decoupled is optional. EzContent's API layer is there when you want a separate JavaScript front end, but the distribution runs perfectly well as a classic, monolithic Drupal site — which is exactly what a BOA platform serves. A decoupled front end lives on its own hosting and talks to your site's API over HTTPS (HTTPS and certificates).
- Editorial teams tend to accumulate media fast, and every site here rides automatic nightly backups plus one-task Backup/Restore on demand (Backups and restores).
